Authoring: How to override not overrideable properties

Of course you know Marius blog about how to override Alert Name, Alert Description and other properties of sealed MPs that are not overrideable. Thanks to Marius at this point.

Tricky could be, if you put your overrides of these properties in an override pack that you would seal when finished. Not a big deal but when developing the override MP you should seal it before you import it in your ManagementGroup (any stage) for the step where you query the OPS-DB for the GUIDs. The GUID would be an other than from an unsealed MP.

Otherwise the Name and Description (or any other of these properties) would be empty when the first alert occurs. Unfortunately you can't double-check these overrides within Operations Console.

All information is provided "as is" without any warranty! Try in lab before. Handle with care in production.
