Update Alert with SCOM Notification

SCOM notifications are really nice. Alerts can be automatically send through email, text message, instant message or trigger an external command.

There is just one problem: Operators that work with the console are not able to see what alerts have been sent or processed by an external command.

So it happened more than once that the daytime operator began to analyze a problem in the morning that the engineer on duty already analyzed during the nightshift.

With this solution SCOM changes the resolution state from New to any other that fits to your needs automatically when a notification has been triggered. Further, you can provide an Owner, for example the message recipient or department. And you can also add other values like Ticket Id, Comments, Custom Fields, … .

Update: Yesterday I updated the version and added logging. Today I fixed a minor bug… So version is available now!
